Jackie is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she teaches in the Sociology Department. Jackie's style is definitely on the cool/funky side, but, as she points out, she's still the prof and has to look the part!
Jackie also commutes to school, which, in the Pacific northwest, means she needed a bag that was water resistant. And she's a passionate advocate for the environment and tries to choose products that have a minimal impact on the planet.
Given her criteria, I knew that the vibrant, versatile and Earth-friendly Urban Junket-T.O.T.E. would be a perfect fit for Jackie!
Here's what Jackie keeps in her magenta Urban Junket-T.O.T.E.:
- 17" laptop in neoprene sleeve
- Power cords
- University ID (concealed so that you can't impersonate me)
- Purell (students...ALWAYS SICK and they always want to touch me)
- Pens, highlighters, etc.
- Two big hanging files with research and student assignments
- Umbrella
- Bus reading material
- Gum (students...close talkers)
And here it is all packed up and ready for her commute:
I don't know what I did before I had this bag! Such a nice change from the boring black bag I've had for the last several years. The bright color on the outside of the bag is great for getting me through those grey days - and I appreciate the heavy-duty zipper that lets me pack this bag to the max!
Thanks to Jackie for sharing her career bag with us!
I love the Urban Junket-T.O.T.E. bags - fun, functional, Earth-friendly and so many bright, beautiful colors. Check out the full range of Urban Junket-T.O.T.E. bags at CareerBags.com!
